Dear Santa, I Want One of Everything!

With Christmas just days away, I expect you are close to finishing your shopping and enjoying this season with your family and friends. This is my fourth and final installment of my holiday gift guide featuring my top picks for children who are traveling with their families and friends.

  1. Family Games - LRC ($7), SKIP BO ($8) and UNO ($10) are very compact and easy to take with you.  These are just a few games that are simple to take on the road, in the air or play while waiting for food in a restaurant.

  2. Toys for Outdoors -  When a child needs to "get the wiggles out" after traveling for several hours, the Pocket Flying Disc ($16) is just the ticket. They are very compact, light weight and come in a pack of 10 for the whole family or travel group to enjoy. And what child doesn't love digging in the sand? With the Packable Pails Collapsable Bucket ($20) you will always have a bucket for the beach or anywhere a kid wants to dig in the dirt.

  3. Hand Puppets ($14+) - Easy to stow away in your purse, backpack, carry-on or day bag hand puppets offer hours of imaginative play. With so many choices to choose from you can't go wrong.

  4. Binoculars ($16) - Children are natural explorers and are always curious. These binoculars are light weight and come with a traveling case and wrist strap. This is one present you cannot go wrong with.

  5. Story Cubes ($22) - Want to keep your children busy and entertained during a long flight or car trip? Pull out Story Cubes, pocket-sized  cubes you put together to for unlimited story possibilities. I suspect many memories will be made with this fun game.

I hope you enjoyed my 2018 Holiday Gift Guide and found many gifts to share with your loved ones who travel the globe.  May your days be merry and bright as you delight in these few days before Christmas to soak up the festivities and remember the real reason for the season, Jesus Christ.
